Description

Senior Analyst of a fund management company by day, frontman of uprising rock band Kyoto Protocol by night, Fuad Alhabshi appears to be the Clark Kent of our times. No doubt, a Malaysian one who is less of a superhero and more of a superstar, but loved all the same. Living the dream that most of us wish we had the courage to pursue, Fuad perfects the balancing act of two juxtaposing careers.

The 31 year old was never a stranger to music having been an avid karaoke singer since the age of 3, according to his mum. He then learned to play the guitar with some practice from holding tennis rackets. But childhood anecdotes aside, Fuad has always had an inclination towards and much talent in music.

Living with a realistic outset on life, Fuad excels in his day job as an analyst not only as his means of paying the bills but also a trade that he has learned to enjoy parallel to his love for music notes and lyrics.

Fuad named Urbanscapes and Future Music Festival Asia in 2013 as his favourite gigs thus far, the man is sure to move to bigger stages. The Kyoto Protocol lead singer aspires to one day be able to settle down and write music, for Kyoto Protocol and for other artistes.
